Galvecta Plus is a combination of Vildagliptin and Metformin hydrochloride. Vildagliptin belongs to dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitor class of drugs. The designated chemical name of Vildagliptin is (S)-1-[2-(3-Hydroxy-adamantan- 1-ylamino)acetyl]-pyrrolidine- 2(S)-carbonitrile and it has a molecular formula of C17H25N3O
