DESCRIPTION

ZOLTAR® contains Omeprazole which is a substituted benzimidazole that inhibits gastric acid secretion via proton pump inhibition. It is chemically designated as 5-methoxy-2-[[(4-methoxy¬3, 5-dimethyl-2-pyridinyl) methyl]sulfinyl]-1H benzimidazole. Its molecular formula is C17H19N3 O3 S.
